USDTRY waits for CB interest rate decision to bounceOn Wed (14th July) Turkish CB will announce one-week repo rate, which affects USDTRY and EURTRY very much.
It is known that Turkish Government is not very keen on high interest rates, despite its necessity. So another rate hike is not expected.
USDTRY is in a descending channel since 22 June, and if there is no more interest rate hikes, we can see an upward momentum to 8,68 first and then up to 8,90.

USDTRY - Preparing for a dip?
The Turkish lira under pressure from inflation data in the country.
June consumer price index rose from 0.89% to 1.94% MoM and from 16.59% to 17.53% YoY. As a result of the partial lifting of quarantine restrictions and an increase in raw material prices, inflation in Turkey has reached two-year highs, which does not give hope for the start of lower interest rates by the country's central bank until the end of this year.
USDTRY consolidation at SUPPORTThe Turkish lira is trading at the lower border of the upward price channel with very low volatility, which indicates consolidation. Waiting for a mouth from the level with the trend to the resistance - 8.86

USDTRY - ending expanding diagonal as 5th wave USDTRY - It is in 5th of 5th of 5th wave as ending expanding diagonal and expected to finish the sequence soon within 8.9 - 9.25 zone. Thereafter expecting the correction down.
USDTRY 4H (downward under the channel)Usdtry can break the channel to down, so it means will get the downward direction i think till targets 8.59 and 8.49 , but it is not mean general direction for long time, it is just some retest still stabilizing the price above 8.78 or stable under 8.46, to appear general direction.
