ADDED 1,000,000 SHARES - POSSIBLE BUYOUTWe heard a rumor that at least two to three large chip companies approached Micron about a takeover.
Is the rumor true, we are trying to find out.
We can say this, after looking at the stocks / P/E's of lesser public companies, in the computer / technology industries and other industries, and then looking at the price of Micron, if the company is not purchased by Intel (INTC), Qualcomm (QCOM), Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM), Qorvo (QRVO), Microchip Technology (MCHP), Western Digital (WDC), Broadcom (AVGO) or someone else, it will be a miracle.
Look at Cracker Barrel (CBRL), trading at 19 x trailing 12 months, with a P/E of $9.00...STOCK PRICE = $172.00 (yes, we understand it's a restaurant - that doesn't change earnings for earnings or P/E for P/E)
So, even if Micron sales drop, and E.P.S drops to between $8.00 and $9.00, the stock should be trading upwards of $175..? No..? E.P.S is E.P.S right...?
Cracker Barrel has a market cap of only $4.2 Billion while Micron has a market cap of $41 Billion...
Look at MCHP, trading at $73.00 with a market cap of only $17 Billion... P/E....? 32 x trailing 12 months...? OMG!
Look at QRVO, trading at $63.50 with a market cap of only $7.7 Billion... P/E...? 460.33 x trailing 12 months...? OMG!
MICRON is one of a handful, if not the only UNDERVALUED STOCK ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE
Corrupt Analysts calling for more of a drop in the price of Micron could soon be kicking themselves in the teeth!
We will continue to keep adding Micron to our portfolio at these FIRE SALE PRICES!
IT'S REALLY DISGUSTING WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MICRON!
WALL STREET HAS MICRON ALL WRONG AND SOON, THEY WILL ALL BE JUMPING OFF BUILDINGS!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OUR FOLLOWERS!
TSM
TSM daily bulllish butterfly after earningsTaiwan Semiconductor Manufacturer has a bullish butterfly pattern after its earnings.
It didn't really pull back much since 2015-8-24, so this trading opportunity is worth noticing for potential reversal sign near 38.00-39.00
In terms of trading, TSM is not the one people mention the most in Taiwan for its steady move and lack of volatility;
while in terms of investing, almost everyone will think TSM is the top 3 pick for long-term investing.
Finding a good entry for this stock and execute the buy and hold strategy is not a bad idea at all ~
Let's see how it goes!
TSM - Upward channel breakdown, short from $29.46 to $27.43TSM broken down longer term upward channel, retested it & now seems rolling over. It is in the weak semiconductor sector. It has nothing significant to support a breakdown, so we are looking for a short-term Stock trade. A break below $29.46 will be entry confirmation & our target is $27.43

SKWS Harsh Decline may lead to possible quick correctionRemember it is important to wait for the next candle to confirm. This is a bullish Hammer after a downtrend from a harsh pullback in asian chip stocks this week. Although Vortex indicator has confirmed a larger bearish move is still likely, as there is no confirmation that this decline is over, it is very possible that speculators will continue to aggressively buy this dip pushing the price back towards $100.
Tomorrow Bullish scenario: (move towards $96.71), if SKWS opens above this may act as support
Tomorrow Bearish scenario: (move towards $89.92) 50 Day EMA may provide signifcant support if further declines
With a PE of about $33, skyworks is currently overvalued, HOWEVER, SWKS is projected to have a YoY growth rate of 50% in the period ending 12/31/2015. That would merit, if PEG = 1 at that future date, a possible stock value of $164. DISCLOSURE: i OWN SHARES OF SWKS
Missed OpportunityLast summer I was learning about Stock Screeners and was playing around with the tool. I had inputted some very difficult ranges for several evaluation categories.
I followed the stock for a little while and then gave up, only now following up.
Missed Opportunity as it was a strick set of criteria (almost impossible) I had inputted into the screener. I actually thought it was to good to be true as the TSM and EDU (both NYSE) were the only stocks that appeared in the results.
EDU went from $22 to $34 in about 6 months. Wow, I have to believe!
