Major Counter-Trend Trade🔍 Dive into my latest analysis on the related article and compare it with my previous week's analysis.
📉 Just like last week, we have identified the formation of a Bearish Shark Pattern. This pattern suggests a potential bearish movement in the market.
⚖️ For conservative traders, it's recommended to wait for a violation of the trendline on the 4-hourly chart. Once the trendline is violated, patiently wait for the retest before considering entering the trade.

Bearish Crab
Finally, Shorting Opportunity📉 After a week of waiting, the market has finally retested my preferred entry price for a short position on the Bearish Crab Pattern(daily chart), which complements the Bearish Shark Pattern(weekly chart) at the 88.50 level. Check out the link article in the TradingView post for a refresher on last week's discussion.
💼 Trading is all about minimizing initial stop-loss and maximizing profits sensibly.
🔄 A retest of the key resistance level at 88.60 on the 1-hourly chart would confirm this trading idea for me.
🔝 This trade holds the highest priority for me in the upcoming week.

Trend Doesn't Matter!!I'm not saying that trend isn't important, but on this particular trade, it is NOT.
And that is because the NZDJPY is on a sideway market, and it didn't show a particular prominent sign.
My top focus is to wait for a shorting opportunity on the Bearish Crab Pattern that shows up on the daily chart. It is common for crab patterns to have their retest before the actual move.
Why this Crab Pattern?
It coincides with the Bearish Shark Pattern on the Weekly Chart.
If you want a buying opportunity, a magic candle confirmation 87.21 on the 1-hourly chart will allow you to engage the trade. Gartley Pattern is the first pattern that was discovered. What makes this Bullish Gartley Pattern interesting is that the completion falls on the Key Support Level on the Daily Chart, marked as the Blue Horizontal Line, indicating a Key Support Level.
This is both amazing and disturbing to see for both traders.
What's your take on the NZDJPY?
Best of Both WorldsMy long-term bias on Dollar Appreciation had not ended, however, that doesn't mean I can't short the Bearish Crab Pattern that was completed at 140.42. If you had traded this, it would have given you 106pips(approx. 1,060usd/lot) of running profits.
If you are like me, having the bias to long the USDJPY, the Bullish Gartley Pattern that completes at 137.84 could provide you with such a trading opportunity.
Either way, the M.C confirmation has to appear in both situations.
A counter-trend move, is it a good ideaIf you have been following me for sometime, you would know that I've my bias in looking to long the US Dollar.
At this moment, there isn't such opportunity, but multiple shorting opportunity presents itself, in this moment, the bearish crab pattern, retest on the 4-hourly chart.
I will take the trade once the market has show the confirmation and will treat it as a counter-trend trade.
The Art of TradingOn the right, the Bearish Crab Pattern on the daily chart is going to form at 105.29. Like you, I did have the impulse to buy it up and short it down, but that couldn't be the way. At the minimum, the strategy has to be tested.
If you have that thought, you could wait for buying opportunity on the lower timeframe.
I'm waiting for the retest of the trendline on the 1-hourly chart to long.
DOLLAR CRASH!? NOPE! NOT NOW!!If you are on the Media, you would have heard that the DOLLAR is CRASHING, countries are ANTI-US DOLLAR, etc, etc...
I don't see any crashes happening on the chart. It is important for independent traders like ourselves, not to get swayed by the news headline; see it for yourself.
What I'm seeing right now, saddens me more than the crashes; the market is going into the consolidation phase.
How do I know that?
A series of Bat Patterns, that's it. The market reflects on what market participants felt.
If you are looking for shorting opportunity, you are in luck.
On Daily Chart(left), Bearish Bat Patterns completing at 136.96 and on the 1-hourly Chart, we have the Bearish Crab Pattern completing at 132.54 and Bearish Bat Pattern completing at 132.87.
Biggest Profit Potential of the WeekThe Bearish Shark Pattern has been completed on the Daily Chart (right), but it will be crazy to trade off the Shark Pattern on the Daily Chart.
A better way is to engage it off the 1-hourly chart(left) using the Bearish Crab Pattern at HOP at retest with an RSI Divergence.
Hooooooo! It's a mouthful, but that's what I need to engage the trade. Even if it sounds like a perfect heist, there's a chance that we get multiple stop-out before hitting our first profit, but that's the trade I'm willing to take.
This GBPAUD trade almost synchronises with my GBPJPY trade, links at the bottom of this TradingView post. The only thing is that the trade is traded in an opposite direction, which creates a perfect hedge on the UK Pound.
As much as my brain loves to think 1 of them will hit stop-loss, not only does it create a perfect hedge, but I do see trades like these worked out.
That is why I'll trade once the market confirms my entry, regardless of what other traders might think.
AUDUSD: SELL OPPORTUNITYBased on my high-timeframe (HTF) analysis, there is a prevailing bearish order flow on the AUDUSD pair over the past 16 days. However, during the last six four-hour (H4) candles, the price has moved in an upward direction towards yesterday's high of 0.67659, where sellers have established their contract through hidden price rejection.
Furthermore, based on my low-timeframe (LTF) analysis, a bearish harmonic reversal pattern (specifically, a bearish crab pattern) has emerged, which supports the bearish outlook on the HTF.
As a result of the alignment of my HTF and LTF bias, I will be initiating a short position from the supply zone (ranging from 0.67706 to 0.6763), with my target set at 0.67005.
EURUSD-Weekly Market Analysis-Dec22,Wk3EURUSD is on a Bullish Trend. However, I am waiting for a counter-trend trading approach. I've two ways of engaging the trade.
The first way is to wait for candlestick confirmation and take the trade based on the Weekly Chart's Key Resistance Level in combination with a Bearish Crab Patterns trading setup, a more aggressive approach is to wait for a break and close below the trendline on the 4-hourly chart to engage the trade. So let me know if you need the analysis on this.
EURUSD-Weekly Market Analysis-Dec22,Wk2The Overall Trend of EURUSD is a Bullish Trend. There are a couple of ways you can engage in this trade.
Wait for market retest at 5-0Pattern at 1.0515 for a buying opportunity or a shorting opportunity at 1.0581 by using the Type2 Bearish Shark Pattern as a counter-trend trade that could form a combo trade with EURUSD Bearish Crab Pattern on the Daily Chart.
Bearish Crab on USOIL: Bearish Continuation Expected This WeekWe have a Bearish Crab with MACD Bearish Divergence at Last Week's high on USOIL after a reaction to the PCE report. I'm expecting that we have reached a top for the week and that we will continue to make the bigger move to the downside to continue the trend started by the 4HR Bearish Bat Trade Below.
I will be waiting for the stock market to actually open before taking the trade if it's still within the Pattern Completion Zone by then.
EURUSD-Weekly Market Analysis-Dec22,Wk1If you missed the trade ideas of EURUSD on Friday, this might give you a 2nd chance to engage in the trade. With that said, do your market analysis and not follow blindly.
What's nice about this trading setup, the three primary timeframes I'm looking at has all the bearish trading setup I need.
Daily Chart - Bearish Crab setup
4-hourly Chart- Ascending Channel with RSI Divergence on overbought region
1-hourly Chart, Bearish Shark Pattern retest
EURUSD-Weekly Market Analysis-Nov22,Wk4EURUSD sits within the resistance zone of the weekly chart, the long week had created an additional resistance level on the daily chart; even a break and close above 1.0485 happens, we have the Bearish Crab Pattern where we can catch the bearish move at 1.0597.
The crab continuesSinking below the triangle we're now in the sideways pattern that is quite frankly getting on my nerves. But this present a potential opportunity assuming the orange line remains as a strong resistance, this could go back down to the lows when it breached, or even lower. Keep an eye on overall markets these things tie in together in more ways than one. Good luck and dyor.
EURJPY - Bearish ButterflyFinally, patience might just pay off. If the current candle closes as it is, there's a high chance for me to look for a shorting opportunity, once market open.
What makes is better is a Bearish Crab Pattern materialised on the 1-hourly chart. Guess we can just wait and see.
GBPUSD - Bearish Crab retestA great shorting opportunity for me. I love to engage the crab pattern although to most traders they shy away from it.
There's a retest on this and is great to see a RSI Divergence on this bearish crab.
One of the combo I love to see is a completion of harmonic patterns within supply zone or demand zone or simply a consolidation zone.
Candlestick pattern confirmation is just as important.
p/s pls do not follow blindly
