Bitcoin hasn't moved the way it was moving in 2016. Many people (including myself) still think that Bitcoin's price movements in previous peak could be used as a guide for predicting it's future price.
I am long term long on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has brought the idea of decentralisation into Money, and now with new Decentralised Exchanges and Stable Coins, building blocks of Decentralised Finance (DeFi) is being built on Ethereum and other platforms. This concept will continue to grow and take every aspect of our lives, from decentralised Identity management, to decentralised governments, etc.
So in my opinion, we will see another peak for Bitcoin late 2021, maybe above 100k USD , but the main question is when Bitcoin is going to see ATH again?
Here are my predictions month by month based on bar pattern from 2016. It would be cool comparing this to actual values later:
Lowest in Mid Oct 2020: $9800 (The bar pattern doesn't agree with this, but this is my analysis) End of October 2020 : $11100 End of Nov 2020: $12500 End of Dec 2020: $13500 End of Jan 2021: $16000 Mid Feb 2021: $19500 End of Feb 2021: $15000 End of March 2021: $20000 and up
